Sorry these are out of order... more camping below! Here is Evie all snugged up while we are having dinner, the chef at his post, Zef and his new "down hill" bike as he calls it! And Evie having a horsie ride on Dad's knees! Zef and Dan hanging out. The night we arrived at the camp ground a big earthquake hit! We were just setting up when there was a horrendous noise and all the chooks, geese and dogs in the area were going nuts! It was 8.30 pm and the lights were flicking on and off and we could see the ground moving up and down. SO we settled down and then BOOM another one hit us! The water tank for the bathrooms at the campground moved on it's stand and was dripping constantly, so there was no water supply. Lucky for us they had new cabins with a seperate water tank, so we could use the bathroom in one of them. Unfortunately 2 people were killed in nearby Hengchun, where it was centred and 40 or so people injured. We usually stay down there for a week or more, but this time it was windy all day and all night.... not just the afternoon, which is normal. So we stayed only a few days. It was so windy it kept Dan and I awake all night! Not to mention the extra times (when we just happened to be asleep) Evie woke us up with her first tooth coming through! AAAARGH! It was a fun time apart from the wind!
