I had a totally fun birthday with lots of spoiling by my wonderful husband! He took Friday off school to look after Evie so I could go on a bike ride and then go to the Aveda Salon for a massage and haircut/colour! Then Saturday we got a babysitter and went on a HUGE bike ride up in the mountains, stopping along the way for coffee and lunch! It was mys first hill ride on the new bike and I loved it! We had heaps of fun and I made it all the way with out having to get off to walk! I had a wee incident with a bus though when we were almost home! Something to do with my incompetence at using clip in pedals and panicking in traffic! Ah well, the bruises aren't too bad!Saturday night we went out on a date to a fancy restaurant, then a funky bar with a live band! Such a grown up evening with out kids! Woo hoo! Sunday we maintained our tradition of eating chocolates in bed and lolled around most of the day, finishing up with ice cream at Coldstone creamery! Yum! A perfect birthday weekend! (check out the cake Dan made me, it is almost on fire with so many candles! It was carrot cake! Mmm!)

Hey babe. Didn't forget your birthday .. been driving around with your present in the car for a few weeks now!! Kaiya and Eden keep wanting to open it cos it looks so pretty...
